Family camping fun in the idyllic Luberon

oaks and other trees characterise the small camping park Domaine des Chênes Blancs. You can reach it in the Luberon, rich in forests and vineyards, between the towns of Roussillon and Gordes. Many of the pitches and rental mobile homes on the mostly flat terrain are pleasantly semi-shaded. The swimming pool provides refreshment; for refreshments the cosy pizzeria with a forest terrace. Under the trees there is also a small playground. Ball sportsmen can play volleyball or football on the soft sand. Fresh bread is available in the morning and during the high season, Domaine des Chênes Blancs organises a small entertainment programme.

At the campsite reception you can get tips on hiking or cycling tours, sightseeing or wineries. The Domaine des Chênes Blancs is an ideal base for excursions. Close to the campsite Domaine des Chênes Blancs you can admire the ruins of the castle of Saint-Saturnin-les-Apt. Discover one of the most beautiful places in Provence, Gordes, which rises on a promontory of the Vaucluse-Mountains. All around Roussillon, the famous ochre rocks shine out. Take the ochre trail, the Sentier des Ocres, to find out more about the historic mining of paint. Tour de France fans and cyclists climb the Mont Ventoux. Walkers can enjoy the view from the summit of the Petit or Grand Luberon. Fans of culture will visit the Palace of the Popes in Avignon, the amphitheatre in Nîmes or the nearby Roman aqueduct Pont du Gard.
